Evergreen Quality Home in Vancouver, Washington provides a warm, loving, and caring environment for seniors who can no longer live independently (e.g., people with special needs such as all types of dementia, physical therapy, stroke recovery, bed-bound, hospice, etc.).

We have been serving the Vancouver, WA area for 10+ years. We are an Adult Family Home (AFH) that houses a maximum of 6 residents at one time. Accordingly, we can provide a high level of one-on-one attention that can be adjusted as an individual ages. Our environment allows our residents to “age in place", meaning they don’t have to relocate every time their need level advances, since specialized nursing care, therapy, or hospice professionals can come to the Adult Family Home. Aging in place is considered a “golden standard” for senior care because relocating can be disconcerting or disorientating for many elderly individuals.
The staff at Evergreen Quality Home prides themselves on providing a safe, clean environment filled with various social and recreational activities. This provides our residents with overall well-being, routine, and, most importantly, a sense of home. We understand the hardships that come along with aging and the realization that a loved one can no longer take care of themselves. Our staff also recognizes the difficulty this realization can have on elderly individuals, which can sometimes lead them to feel as though they’ve been left behind. This is why we strive to make the transition as simple as possible and give families and their loved ones the peace of mind they deserve.

William Winer, my step-father, has resided at Evergreen Quality Home since December of 2005. When he was moved there, he was suffering from advanced stages of Alzheimer's and was unable to walk, feed himself, or communicate. With the kind care he has received from John and Marcia Roial-Craciun, he began to feed himself. Just recently, he began talking in simple sentences again. His condition has improved a great deal in spite of the continued difficulty with his Alzheimer's condition.
It has been my experience that he has always been treated with kindness and dignity. He is always clean, well-fed, and seems to be very happy in this environment. It is my opinion that the Craciuns are excellent caregivers.
If you are looking for some compassionate, caring people, this is the team I highly recommend. Their friendliness and professionalism is what I love about them.

As a guardian, I have experienced many homes and Marcia and John provide one of the highest quality.

Almost three years ago, we looked for an adult family home for our mother.
She needed 24/7 supervision and help with almost all activities of daily living.
The two most important things for us were the staff and the physical facility.
We looked at multiple settings, but for us the choice was clear: Evergreen Quality Home was the perfect setting for our mother.
The staff is exceptional! Health and safety are at the heart of their care, but what sets them apart is their lovingkindness and gentleness.
Each person is treated with respect and given a sense of hope and joy.
They are assured they are not a burden and the staff cheerfully sees to their needs.
The facility is set up so that the residents have their own bedroom and bathroom.
The bedrooms are big enough to entertain guests, if they want privacy.
The great room is arranged conversationally with a big, comfy chair for each person.
This enables them to see each other, watch TV, and do their activities together as friends.
The meals are family-style, all together at the table. This greatly reduces isolation. We are thankful that Evergreen Quality Home is here for our mom.
They have worked diligently to keep their clients healthy through this pandemic and kept an atmosphere of hope and peace for their clients and the families that love them.
When my mom was in her final days, they kept close contact with us, supported us, and grieved with us. Mom had the best, most loving care.

My mother was at Evergreen Quality Home for about 5 years before passing.
During her stay, this home was always spotlessly clean and fresh.
The living arrangements were ideal for the small number of residents to interact, watch TV, or read.
The staff were incredibly kind and compassionate and Mom was always bathed, dressed, and sitting in the living room when I visited. John, Marcia, and their team represent everything that distinctive adult care should be.
I would highly recommend Evergreen Quality Home for your loved one.

They [Evergreen Quality Home] have a beautiful home built for privacy and provide a sense of community. We have been blessed to have found such a loving and caring home.
The rooms are private and beautifully furnished. Every staff member is very caring. There was a time at an event when the staff had someone come in and sing with the residents, which was extremely enjoyed by all.

1. Resolve conflict without fighting. Bring conflicts to the attention of the Provider.
2. Treat each other’s personal space, property, and feelings with respect, including:
a. No stealing or unauthorized use of other people’s stuff.
b. No loud music except by permission of other people in the home
c. Keep cursing to a minimum. No ethnic or sexual slurs will be tolerated.
d. Knock and request permission before entering someone else’s bedroom.
e. No explicit or pornographic materials in public areas of the home.
3. ALWAYS inform staff when planning to leave the property.
4. Visitors are welcome in the home. Provider reserves the right to refuse visitors based
on safety concerns.
5. No alcohol, no illegal drugs, no marijuana, and no medical marijuana is allowed on the home premises.
6. In accordance with Washington's Indoor Clean Air Act, no smoking or vaping
is allowed inside or outside the home or in provider or staff vehicles.
7. Three nutritious meals are provided each day. Snacks are available by request, at any time.
8. When notified of substantiated abuse, AFH provider will immediately provide
written notification to: individuals in the AFH, county services coordinators,
individual’s legal guardians, and the individual found to have committed the abuse.
This notice will include the date and type of abuse and how to obtain public record
of the abuse report.
